In a pot on medium-high heat, add cubed beef, ginger and water and bring to a boil. Lower to medium-low heat and simmer for about 1 hour to 1 ½ hours until meat is tender.
Once meat is tender, add yellow onions, 1 tbsp turmeric powder, 1 tbsp sweet paprika powder, crushed peanuts, chili padiand season to taste with salt. Mix well and let it simmer on medium heat for another 5 minutes.
Serve hot with additional crushed peanuts on the side. Best enjoyed with white rice or even baked, mashed or boiled potatoes!
