Mix ground turmeric, salt, ground coriander, chopped garlic and oil together untl smooth.
Coat the chicken legs in this marinade and set aside for 30 minutes to marinate.
Heat a grill pan up on a medium heat.
Place the chicken skin side down and cook for 5-7 minutes, until crispy and golden brown.
Turn the chicken over and cook for another 5-7 minutes on the other side.
Adjust the heat lower if the chicken is browning too fast.
Stir the kecap manis, chopped tomato, green chilli and shallots together with lime juice.
Slice the cooked chicken and serve.
